Rafael spent nine years in public accounting, beginning as a tax intern and advancing through audit and tax roles to tax manager. During that time, he prepared and reviewed tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and their businesses, trained other accountants, and became a primary point of contact for clients with complex financial lives.
After nearly a decade, Rafael realized the pace of the industry was leaving too little room for his own life. He started Fregoso & Associates to build a career that could provide financial stability without requiring him to organize everything around profit.
